A childhood friend, we shared precious moment together,

I loved her, but can’t express it for I was too shy,

Then our school life ended & after school began,

Here the fun never stopped with energies that soared high,

All this time my love for her kept getting stronger,

So I tried to tell her, but feared of losing a friend,

Then like all good things our collage life too ended,

We both parted away with separate ways to lead,

All this time, I kept regretting the fact,

That I was unable to express my feelings to her,

Then one day out of the blues,

I got the news that she had passed away,

I felt that my heart had been ripped out,

So I stood beside her grave, where I found her diary,

In which she expressed her love for me,

Falling down on my knees, I cried aloud,

I begged for a chance, if only I could express,

So if you’re in love, then be bold & say it,

Coz your love will, but one you love will not live forever.
